How would I find out a value for a Unopened bottle of Lochanora. It is a 750ml bottle at 70 proof. I have had it for 33 years.

That doesn't sound right: "on the Island of Jura (on the west coast of Scotland, only 2 hours boat ride east from Islay)"

It would have to be a very very slow ferry for that, considering the Sound of Islay (which the Jura ferry crosses) is only just over half a mile wide....

The ferry to Islay takes two hours (which I guess is where you get your two hours from), the crossing over to Jura from Islay only takes about 10 minutes. Getting to Jura from the mainland in total will take a good three hours though.

Unless you take the seasonal passenger only ferry, which takes just under an hour from the mainland.

I heard about this tasting from Andy when he got back, and i'm still jealous! Looking forward to the next tasting, hopefully I'll be allowed to go to it, for work purposes, of course.

The old site was good, but the new one seems to channel their quirky sense of humour even more - old world flair but still modern and intruiging.

You're right Seth, it's very exiting to have a new distillery getting closer and closer to releasing their first whisky. We have two Kilchoman's for sale online and in store, one is their new make (unmatured spirit fresh from the stills) and also some Kilchoman spirit that has been matured for two years. Even at a young age it's obvious that Kilchoman will be amazing whisky.

Gosh, a new Islay. Sounds fantastic, and sounds like this was a great way to get some publicity around it's launch. I look forward to visiting there some day.
